Our first round of antibiotics plus a big bobo

Well, we have been extremly fortunate. Rileigh has been sick very few times so far and most times have been with a simple cold. She ran fever for several days so I decided to go ahead and call the doctor(thanks Amanda for making me!). We went in to find out that she had a pretty nasty ear infection, alond with a yucky cold. So...we got our first round of antibiotics! She has done so well with them. She says,"Time for my mecine. Make me feel sooo much betta!"
That night, she and Daddy were playing ball and Ri met the door frame head on. The door frame won! She has a nice goose egg in the middle of her forehead. It is going through the rainbow of colors that all nice bruises do. We are in the yellow/green stage now! Poor thing had a rough start to her week, but has handled it all like a champ!
Kudos to Gram and Nonnie for toughing it out with Ri this past week! I worked a good bit so Nonnie and Gram kept Ri for me. Thanks a bunch and sorry Ri passed on her illness to you, Nonnie. Hope you feel better soon!

She layed down and said, "Take a picture like this my bobo."

We painted Ri's toenails for the first time that night. It was the only thing that would keep her still and calm so I could ice her head. I think we have started something here. She is loving her "pink" toenails.
