St. Paddy's Parade

Braden, Rileigh and I went to the St. Paddy's pet parade downtown today with Jason, Heather and Emery. Ri and Em loved watching all the dogs dressed up for the parade, and the monkey riding a dog was fairly entertaining for us all!
We laughed on the way there talking about how life has really changed. Our bags for the parade were packed with plenty of water, cheerios and diapers...ha

After the parade and naptime, we went to buy some flowers for our pots. Rileigh was a huge "help." She wanted to pick all the flowers as I planted them so we gave her a job of her own....to plant some weeds in her own yellow pail. She took this job very seriously. At one point she had on one of my gardening gloves, but was holding that hand straight up in the air and digging in the dirt with the other hand! She didn't quite grasp the point of the gloves.

Convincing her that the job was done, and it was time to go inside was not so much fun.
