Our blog:

Braden, Amy, Rileigh and Rivers….but mostly Rileigh and Rivers!!!

Catching up...

I feel like I haven't posted in forever. I don't think it has been that long, we have just had alot going on. This might possibly be my longest post to date, which says alot! ha Rileigh has just recently really gotten into dressing up. She and Emery got into Em's dress up clothes last week and she loved it. There are some cute pics on Heather's blog of them dancing: http://www.jasonandheathergrissom.blogspot.com/

We went to Gram and Grandaddy's house last weekend. The kept Ri while Braden and I went to a friend's engagement party Saturday night. We had a great time, and it sounded like Ri did as well. She always has a blast in McCarley! Here she is telling Gram she was ready for bed but needed to sleep with her shovel.

There is a great creek behind their house. Gram never wants to kiddos to play in it because she is scared to death of snakes. Well, Gram went to teach Sunday School so we took our chance to escape to the creek for a while.

Didn't take Miss Priss long to get soaking wet

She wanted to go further down the creek so she asked Grandaddy to "please move those limbs!" Well, what do you think he did??

Grandaddy came to pick us up with his lawn mower. Ri really enjoyed this!

My child honestly thinks clothes are optional in the country!

We went to try out Burgers and Blues in Ridgeland. It was fun until the downpour came and we had to rush inside. The food was good, well except Jason and Braden's random peanut butter burger...blahh!

I went to Ri's room to check on she and Em. They were way too quiet. Em was reading her books..too sweet!

Nonnie and Grandad came to visit for Braden's birthday but it seemed Ri got the most gifts. Nonnie has just returned from her vacation to Maine. She bought Ri a tshirt to color and picked up some really cool granite rocks for her. Grandad thought Ri really needed a pair of shooting ear muffs. Ri loved them!

The end result of the tshirt!

Grissy and Poppy invited us all to the pool last week for a pizza party. Jordan and Ty were in town as well. You can't beat swimming until the pizza man arrives, eating pizza and ice cream, them swimming some more! Thanks Grissy and Poppy!

A worn out little girl getting ready to go home and go to bed!

Our sweet neighbor from Germany gave Rileigh this AWESOME stroller. It came with a baby, stroller, diaper bag, clothes, car seat, and carrier! OMG...she loved this thing!

Not really what the grocery cart is for!

Braden and I bought Ri her big birthday present early. We have been wanting to get her a playhouse for a while but they are just so expensive. Well, she saw one outside of Kroger the other day and loved it. We were back to next day buying it. And yes...it is a large outdoor playhouse that is now in my breakfast area :)

Rileigh got out of the bath the other night and was running from me while I was trying to put her pjs on. She found the Mardi Gras beads and continued to run around the house dancing and wearing only beads! Hmmm...
